South Carolina Finishes the 2006-2007 Basketball Season

The South Carolina Gamecocks ended their season with a 14-16 record last week after falling to Arkansas in the SEC Tournament. Washington DC's own Tre Kelley finished his Gamecock career with second in games played (134), third in minutes played (3,956), third in 3-point field goals (167) and third in assists (510), while Brandon Wallace finished his career first in games played (135) and blocked shots (249). We look forward to bigger and better things for Kelley and Wallace, as well as the Gamecocks next year!

Women's Basketball

Lady Gamecocks Advance to Women's NIT Championship

USC received a first-round bye in the Women's NIT and will face the winner of Thursday's opening round game between Hartford and Bucknell.

If USC wins that game, it will play Hofstra, Seton Hall or Dartmouth in a third round game.

The date and site for the second-round game will be announced later this week.
